Baylie Layne is 7 Weeks Old :)

So it's about midnight on a Thursday and I'm about to go to bed but I decided to write a little bit to wind down.

The past few weeks have been crazy for me but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I've been back to work for about a week and 1/2 now and I must say I hate being away from my baby girl but its nice to be back to work. This is how my weeks have been going. Baylie's Aunt Zay is going to be watching her starting November but we needed to find some temporary sitters so we decided Baylie's Grandma Abby would watch her on Mondays and our friend LeaAnn would watch her on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I would have her Tuesdays because thats one of my days off and Brad would have her Fridays because thats his day off. We are both off on Saturdays thats the only day and Brad would have her Sunday since I'm at work. Crazy I know. So lets see heres a what you would call.."normal" week. Monday. Wake up around 6am feed Baylie, get myself ready along w/ her diaper bag and whatever she needs around 9am-10 fee Baylie again then around 11:30 leave for Dresden which is about 10-15min away drop her off with Grandma Abby and then head to work which is back in the opposite direction about 10-15min. Then I work 1pm-10pm I usually get to see Baylie on my lunch break on Monday because shes home by then so we cuddle a little then go back to work until the nights done. Come home and feed/bathe her then go to bed! Tuesdays we play around thats momma's day off. Wednesdays and Thursdays are crazy..same morning routine but this time I drop her off at LeaAnn's which is about 10min away then on my lunch break I have to go pick Baylie up and bring her back to our house so her dad can have her and then back to work..so my dinner on those days consists of whats in the vending machine at work. Very healthy things you know..some of my favorites..nutter butters, quaker cheddar cheese mix, m&ms, and snackwell cookies. YummmY. Yea right! Anyways...its a pretty crazy schedule!!

Baylie has been great though. She's fitting in perfect...she sleeps through the night which is great and she seems to be a very healthy baby! I stopped nursing her after about a week and 1/2 which was not easy to do! I've never felt more guilty in my life but I felt that it was better for the both of us considering I was a mess everytime she would go to nurse! I felt a little selfish stopping because of pain/stress but I realize this was probably affecting her too! She is great on formula and the constipation only lasted a few weeks. Now we can't get her to stop dirtying diapers! Haha :) Her cousins love her very much even though cousin Gwyn is a bully and steals her binky...it happens. Gwyn's Momma (Baylie's Aunt Heather) Tells me that she has taught Gwyn to fight for herself since she's the baby in her family. I still say she's just a big bully ;). Also the picture on this post is Miss Baylie smiling! I can't believe at 7weeks I can get her to smile, now I sound completely ridiculous getting her to do it but hey..whatever it takes!

Now for my situation..I currently work at the cable company. 1pm-10pm with Tuesdays and Saturdays off. This schedule is horrible, I really do not enjoy working it. I have been interviewing with a local packaging company for an office assistant, which is the same rate of pay I get at Time Warner but it will actually end up being less money because they are a smaller company and the insurance does not include dental and vision and the family insurance is more expensive than Time Warner. I feel that as long as I can pay my bills this would be a good job to take. It is 8-5 Mon-Fri with weekends/holidays off. I think its very important to spend time with Baylie and Brad right now! I can take a little pay cut and cut back on material things that I do not need. So anyways I have had three interviews now for this which have all gone really well. I got a call that they would let me know this week if an offer would be made or not...I really hope so!! But whatever will be will be! Ok enough rambling I need to get some z's! By the way I don't know who all reads this I know my sisters do but say a little prayer for my family..mostly my sister Lindsay (who will probably read this and tear up) she's going through a rough time right now and needs lots of love and prayer!! I'm sure whatever happens with her she'll find happiness but its a rough patch right now and lots of decisions to make! I know she'll do whatever is best for her and her husband!! I also wanted to write another thing on here because I know my sisters read this, thank you for everything! Even if its just an ear to hear me B***h about Brad or something else it helps a lot! And I may not always take your advice but I do listen. Its nice to have someone to complain to :) I really wanted to buy you all something nice...but I am broke. sorry...lol. Okay so Brad just came out to see what in the world I was doing on here, time for bed. G'night!
